WBCE CMS 1.3.2 verfügbar / available

WBCE 1.3.2 steht jetzt als Stable-Release bereit. Der Download des Installations-/Upgradepakets ist auf GitHub verfügbar.

Was ist neu?

In dieser Version gibt es wieder eine Vielzahl von Fehlerkorrekturen und Verbesserungen, hierzu zählen u.a.:

• komplett überarbeitete Frontend-Registrierung: jetzt mit optionalem Double-Opt-In, Benachrichtigung bei Neuregistrierungen an Administrator, Freischaltung von neuen Accounts durch Administrator, Datenverarbeitungs-Zustimmung und tabellenloser, Template-basierter Ausgabe (siehe /account/Account.cfg.php)

• CKEditor auf Version 4.10 aktualisiert

• miniForm auf Version 0.12 aktualisiert

• Twig auf 1.35.3 aktualisiert

• Fix für Droplet-Modul

• Anpassung an SM2 (es wird nur noch show_menu2 mit den aktuellen Parametern unterstützt, nicht mehr der alte show_menu-Aufruf)

• Anpassungen an Vertal/Hortal (Formatierung für Formularschaltflächen aufgrund störender Seiteneffekte aus der editor.css entfernt)

• Korrekturen am Frontend-Formular für Profileinstellungen

• Bekannte Fehler in Bezug auf php 7.2 wurden behoben

• Installer übernimmt jetzt https-URLs korrekt

• Regelmäßige Bereinigung der Sitzungsdaten-Tabelle in der Datenbank

• Korrektur eines Problems mit dem Zugriff auf Admintools für Benutzer, die nicht selbst zur Admin-Gruppe gehören

• Korrektur eines Problems mit dem Menü-Link-Modul bei Seiten mit 0 Abschnitten

Anleitung Neuinstallation

1. Das Installationspaket herunterladen und lokal entpacken

2. Inhalt des Verzeichnisses "wbce" in das Server-Verzeichnis kopieren, in dem WBCE CMS installiert werden soll (i.d.R. Root-Verzeichnis, httpdocs o.ä.)

3. Im Browser die URL aufrufen, wo WBCE CMS installiert werden soll

4. Der Installer startet automatisch, in diesem die Eingabefelder für Zeitzone, Webseitentitel, Datenbankzugangsdaten, Administratoraccount usw. ausfüllen

5. Auf "Install WBCE CMS" klicken

6. Anmelden und Loslegen

Anleitung Update 

1. Datensicherung machen (Dateisystem auf dem Server) - WICHTIG

2. Datenbanksicherung erstellen (Dump/Export, z.B. mit PhpMyAdmin oder Adminer) - WICHTIG

3. Das Installationspaket herunterladen und lokal entpacken

4. Inhalt des Verzeichnisses /wbce komplett (also auch /install) außer config.php.new und ggf. favicon.ico in das Verzeichnis der zu aktualisierenden WBCE CMS-Instanz auf den Server kopieren

5. Updater durch Aufruf der Adresse der zu aktualisierenden WBCE CMS-Installation mit angehängtem install/update.php (deinedomain.tld/install/update.php) aufrufen, Hinweis lesen und bestätigen und auf "Start Update Script" klicken

6. Ggfs. im Zuge des Upgrades überschriebene Anpassungen an Modulen (->frontend.js/css) und Templates durch Zurückkopieren der zuvor lokal gesicherten Dateien wiederherstellen

7. Am Backend anmelden

8. Ggfs. nicht benötigte Module und Templates über Erweiterungen > Module bzw. erweiterungen > Templates wieder deinstallieren

Mit dem Update-Script können alle vorherigen Versionen von WBCE (und ggf. ältere WB-Versionen) ohne Zwischenschritte auf WBCE CMS 1.3.2 aktualisiert werden.

Bitte beachten: Insbesondere an den Inhalten des Verzeichnisses /account wurden diverse Anpassungen vorgenommen. Wer hier in der Vergangenheit eigenständig Anpassungen am Registrierungsprozess vorgenommen hat, sollte unbedingt prüfen, inwieweit die Änderungen am WBCE-Core in der 1.3.2 mit den eigenen Anforderungen bzw. selbst implementierten Anpassungen übereinstimmen. Ein Update auf 1.3.2 ist auch ohne die Aktualisierung der Dateien in /accounts möglich, in diesem Falle den Ordner aus dem Installationspackage vor dem Upload löschen (dies gilt natürlich nicht für Neuinstallationen!).

Im (voraussichtlich) nächsten Major Release wird das Account- und Registrierungsmanagement auf eine modul- bzw. admintool-basierte Lösung umgestellt.

What's new?

The release 1.3.2 brings some detail improvements and fixes some flaws, i.e.

• complete rework of frontend registration (double opt-in, account activation by administrator, email notices on registration, template-based table-less output - see /account/Account.cfg.php for registration options)

• Update CKEditor to v. 4.10

• Update miniform to v. 0.12

• Update Twig to1.35.3

• Fix for design issues in droplet module

• Only show_menu2 with current parameters is supported, no longer backwards compatibility to outdated show_menu-call

• Remove input type="submit" styles from editor.css file of Hortal and Vertal template due to issues with frontend registration form

• Fixes for problems due to PHP 7.2

• Install script works flawless on https domains now

• Regulary cleanup of stored session data in database

• Fix for issue with missing admintools

• Fix for issue with Menu Link module and empty pages (pages with no sections

New installation (as usual)

1. Download Installer and unzip it locally

2. Copy all contents of the folder "wbce" (but usually not the folder itself) into the folder on your server where WBCE CMS should be installed (usually the root directory, which is called www, httpdocs or sth. like this)

3. Point your browser to the URL where WBCE CMS should be installed

4. The installer starts automatically, please fill in all fields

5. Click on "Install WBCE CMS"

6. Log in and start working

Updating

1. Backup your files on the server - IMPORTANT

2. Create a database backup (dump / export, f. ex. using mit PhpMyAdmin or Adminer) - IMPORTANT

3. Download installation package and unzip it locally

4. Copy the contents of the folder completely (e.g. /install too) without config.php.new and maybe favicon.ico into the folder of the WBCE CMS installation you want to update on the server

5. Call  the update script by pointing your browser to the URL of the website which should be updated with added install/update.php (yourdomain.tld/install/update.php). Read the advices, check the checkbox and start the update script.

6. If necessary, rollback unwanted changes on templates or modules by backcopying the corresponding single files from the local backup (->frontend.js/css)

7. Log-In to the Backend

8. If necessary, remove not used modules and templates via Add-Ons > Modules / add-Ons > Templates

The update script can be used to update all prior versions of WBCE (and possibly older WB-versions too) directly to WBCE CMS 1.3.2.

Please notice that the contents of the /account folder were mostly reworked, so if you have chaned the registration process by yourself in the past, make sure that the new process implemented in WBCE CMS 1.3.2 fits to your needs. You can also update and use WBCE CMS 1.3.2 without updating the accounts management, in this case, just remove the /account folder from the upload package (only when updating, not for new installations!)

A complete rework and module/admin tool based management of the registration process will be included (probably) in the next Major Release of WBCE CMS.
