WBCE CMS 1.3.1 verfügbar / available

Die nächste Version von WBCE CMS steht nun als stabile Version bereit. Der Download des Installations-/Upgradepakets ist auf GitHub verfügbar.

Mit diesem Release werden einige Bugs in Zusammenhang mit unserem Output Filter, mpForm und E-Mailversand über SMTP mit SSL Verschlüsselung behoben.

In diesem Fall empfehlen wir, das Update zeitnah einzuspielen und mpForm auf die neueste Version zu aktualisieren.

Es wurden darüber hinaus auch Verbesserungen für die Backend Theme- sowie show_menu-Handhabung eingebaut und andere kleine Bugs behoben.

The next version of WBCE CMS is now available as a stable version. The download of the installation / upgrade package is available on GitHub.

This release fixes bugs  in connection with our output Filter, mpForm, and email via SMTP with SSL encryption.

In this case, we recommend that you install the update in a timely manner and update mpForm to the latest version.

In addition, improvements for the backend theme as well as show_menu handling and other minor bugs were fixed.

Anleitung Neuinstallation (wie üblich)

1. Das Installationspaket herunterladen und lokal entpacken

2. Inhalt des Verzeichnisses "wbce" in das Server-Verzeichnis kopieren, in dem WBCE CMS installiert werden soll (i.d.R. Root-Verzeichnis, httpdocs o.ä.)

3. Im Browser die URL aufrufen, wo WBCE CMS installiert werden soll

4. Der Installer startet automatisch, in diesem die Eingabefelder für Zeitzone, Webseitentitel, Datenbankzugangsdaten, Administratoraccount usw. ausfüllen

5. Auf "Install WBCE CMS" klicken

6. Anmelden und Loslegen

Anleitung Update (unverändert zu 1.3.0)

1. Datensicherung machen (Dateisystem auf dem Server) - WICHTIG

2. Datenbanksicherung erstellen (Dump/Export, z.B. mit PhpMyAdmin oder Adminer) - WICHTIG

3. Das Installationspaket herunterladen und lokal entpacken

4. Inhalt des Verzeichnisses /wbce komplett (also auch /install) außer config.php.new und ggf. favicon.ico in das Verzeichnis der zu aktualisierenden WBCE CMS-Instanz* auf dem Server kopieren

5. Hinweis: Wenn die Update-Dateien für 1.3.1 auf den Server kopiert wurden, das Update-Script jedoch noch nicht ausgeführt wurde, ist bei Versionen < 1.3.0 keine Anmeldung am Backend möglich. Dh. nach dem Hochladen der Daten muss unverzüglich das Update-Script aufgerufen werden.

6. Updater durch Aufruf der Adresse der zu aktualisierenden WBCE CMS-Installation mit angehängtem install/update.php (deinedomain.tld/install/update.php) aufrufen, Hinweis lesen und bestätigen und auf "Start Update Script" klicken

7. Ggfs. im Zuge des Upgrades überschriebene Anpassungen an Modulen (->frontend.js/css) und Templates durch Zurückkopieren der zuvor lokal gesicherten Dateien wiederherstellen

8. Am Backend anmelden

9. Ggfs. nicht benötigte Module und Templates über Erweiterungen > Module bzw. erweiterungen > Templates wieder deinstallieren

New installation (as usual)

1. Download Installer and unzip it locally

2. Copy all contents of the folder "wbce" (but usually not the folder itself) into the folder on your server where WBCE CMS should be installed (usually the root directory, which is called www, httpdocs or sth. like this)

3. Point your browser to the URL where WBCE CMS should be installed

4. The installer starts automatically, please fill in all fields

5. Click on "Install WBCE CMS"

6. Log in and start working

Updating (as already for1.3.0)

1. Backup your files on the server - IMPORTANT

2. Create a database backup (dump / export, f. ex. using mit PhpMyAdmin or Adminer) - IMPORTANT

3. Download installation package and unzip it locally

4. Copy the contents of the folder completely (e.g. /install too) without config.php.new and maybe favicon.ico into the folder of the WBCE CMS installation* you want to update on the server

5. Please note: When updating from versions < 1.3.0, once the files of WBCE CMS 1.3.1 were copied over the old files, the log-in on this website to is no longer possible. So the update script has to be run immediately afterwards.

6. Call  the update script by pointing your browser to the URL of the website which should be updated with added install/update.php (yourdomain.tld/install/update.php). Read the advices, check the checkbox and start the update script.

7. If necessary, rollback unwanted changes on templates or modules by backcopying the corresponding single files from the local backup (->frontend.js/css)

8. Log-In to the Backend

9. If necessary, remove not used modules and templates via Add-Ons > Modules / add-Ons > Templates
