Vertical aside menu

Hello!

I use WBCE 1.4 with template WBCETik.

I noticed, that the subitems in vertical menu needs doubleclick to open related submenu page.

How to avoid doubleclick?

yeah, unfortunately the script does not work properly - but I've found a better solution now.

1) change the line (in original template line 32)

$aItemOpen      = '<li><a href="[url]" class="[class]" target="[target]">[menu_title]</a>',

to

$aItemOpen      = '<li class="[class]"><a href="[url]" target="[target]">[menu_title]</a>',

2) Remove at the bottom (line 274)

$( '.chevron li:has(ul)' ).doubleTapToGoX();

and instead, put there

$(document).ready(function () {
			$('.chevron li').children('ul').hide();
			$('.chevron li.menu-parent').children('ul').show();
			$('.chevron li').click(function () {

				if ($(this).children('ul,p').is(':hidden') == true) {
				$(this).children('ul,p').slideDown('slow');
				return false
				}
			})
		});

Then the behavoiur should be as expected/wanted:
- if a menu item is just a usual link, open it, either on which level it is
- if it's a parent item with submenu entries, display the submenu, and open the link of the parent item itself on the second click
