Cleanup Proposal : Language Files

Taking a quick look into the Source i mentioned the really old "old.format.inc.php" file in the language folder.
This means that somewhere in the code there are still some old language vars , that need to be take care of if you start modifying the backend.
I guess it would be a pretty good idea to finally remove em.   

This does not need special coding skills, just someone who knows to use Notepad++.

Hat für mich nicht so oberste Priorität, ehrlich gesagt. Wenn die nicht irgendwie Sicherheits- oder Stabilitätsprobleme verursachen, sehe ich da keinen akuten Handlungsbedarf. Später gern, kommt also mit auf die To-Do-List, derzeit gibt es m.E. Dringenderes.

The basic Idea why i like to cleanup is taht it saves so much time later on, for example if we cleanupt the language mess i got a nice little tool that synchronizes all language files if you just change the Englich one. (Add vars or remove some vars) Its even capable of translating via Google translate.(if you got an api key). Whith all that language mess in place its pretty  hard to apply.

Its not first priority, but this is whishlist

I just noticed that the naming of the language selection is a bit messed up. Sometimes still the language name is used, e.g. "Dansk", "English",  and sometimes the country name is used, e.g. "Germany". This looks a bit weird (and especially the wording "Germany" instead of "German" is not very polite to WB users in Austria, Switzerland or any other place where a user who wants to use the backend in german language is situated). So I would prefer to switch back to the old and imho more accurate use of the language names for all entries.

Makes Sense to me . But does this have to do whith languagefiles and wrong named languagevars?

The auto tool did  :-)

You have to change the language array in the  language file tool , those files are auto generated .

Or maybe simply return an edited Array back to me .

I think i do some additional homework and add language names in nativ language to the table.
Right now i think WB would habe trouble whith utf-8 , but later this may be usefull.
