Hello
Please advice how to block displaying keywords meta tag by SimplePageHead module ?
Because of seo, it's better not to use keywords meta tag.

Well, as far as I know the meta keywords tag is just ignored by Google.
I just learned that it might be harmful to use the keywords tag for keyword stuffing, but only Bing might behave like this (the information is from 2015, and who on earth ever uses Bing).
Nevertheless, to answer your question: in the /modules/simplepagehead/include.php, comment out the lines 133-135 and 144-149 like this:
if (OPF_AUTO_PLACEHOLDER) echo '<!--(PH) META DESC+ -->';
echo '<meta name="description" content=""'."$endtag>";
if (OPF_AUTO_PLACEHOLDER) echo "<!--(PH) META DESC- -->";
echo "\n";
/* if (OPF_AUTO_PLACEHOLDER) echo '<!--(PH) META KEY+ -->';
echo '<meta name="keywords" content=""'. "$endtag>";
if (OPF_AUTO_PLACEHOLDER) echo "<!--(PH) META KEY- -->"; */
echo "\n";
I::insertMetaTag(array (
"setname" => "description",
"name" => "description",
"content" => "$the_description"
));
/* I::insertMetaTag(array (
"setname" => "keywords",
"name" => "keywords",
"content" => "$the_keywords"
)); */Please be aware that this modification is overwritten if you install WBCE core updates and has to be applied again.

Is there a specific reason why you want to eliminate the possibility of displaying the meta keywords line itself in the head of your website? It is safe to simply ignore entering anything in the keywords input dialogues in the General Settings and Page Settings of the admin, which will result in and empty entry being displayed for keyword tags in the frontend source.
As florian mentioned, even if you have keywords entered for your pages, as long as you have not "stuffed" them (especially with terms unrelated to your site) you should not see any negative outcome in search ranking.

There is results of the seo audit of the page regarding keywords:
"Keywords is a meta tag whose role in displaying the page in search results has been excluded. It's not been for several years
taken into account by Google search engine. Having meta keywords on the page we give competition an insight
phrases for which the site should appear in search results.
It is recommended to remove the meta keywords tag from the page code."
So that is the reason why I want to remove keywords.

If the keywords meta tag is empty SEO audit recommends to remove the tag.

Interesting. First time I have ever heard of that recommendation. Just out of curiosity, is this a paid audit or a free online audit?

It is true that Google ignores keywords (and always did), but I've never heard that keywords are *bad* and recommended to be removed. Of course, you may research which keywords your competitors use and use them for yourself, but is that really a reason for not using keywords? I don't know.
For the core: I think the Insert class should not add the keyword META tag if no keywords are defined, so there's no empty tag at any time.
Ich habe eine Amazon-Wishlist.
Oder spende an das Projekt.
Ich kann, wenn ich will, aber wer will, dass ich muss, kann mich mal
