WBCE CMS 1.6.9

WBCE CMS 1.6.9 ist ein Sicherheits- und Wartungsrelease. Allen Nutzern der 1.6.x-Reihe wird ein zeitnahes Update dringend empfohlen.

Sicherheit

Diese Version enthält eine umfassende Sicherheitsüberarbeitung. Gehärtet wurden die Benutzerverwaltung, der Umgang mit hochgeladenen Dateien und zahlreiche mitgelieferte Module:

• WYSIWYG (2.10.1)

• News with Images (5.0.32)

• Miniform (0.23.4)

• JS Admin (1.4.6)

• WBCE Updater (1.0.7)

• elFinder (2.1.68.0)

• Error Logger (1.1.4.3)

• Addon Monitor (0.7.3)

• wbStats (0.2.5.12)

Außerdem gibt es eine neue .htaccess im Medienverzeichnis, und beim Hochladen werden mehr Dateitypen abgelehnt.

Fehlerbehebungen

• Unbeabsichtigter Session-Verlust behoben.

• Captcha Control 2.0.6: Ein Modul-Upgrade überschreibt bestehende Einstellungen nicht mehr mit den Standardwerten.

• CKEditor „wblink“: Darstellungsfehler bei Sonderzeichen behoben.

• E-Mail-Validierung und Installer-Fehlermeldungen korrigiert.

• Droplets: Der Aktiv/Inaktiv-Schalter in der Droplet-Liste funktioniert wieder.

• Kleinere Korrekturen im Core und in Logrotate.

⚙️ Kompatibilität

• PHP 8.5: Verbliebene Deprecation-Hinweise behoben.

Update-Hinweise

1. Vor dem Update ein vollständiges Backup von Dateien und Datenbank anlegen.

2. Update wie gewohnt über den WBCE Updater oder manuell: Dateien (Zip + Unzipper) hochladen, dann /install/update.php aufrufen.

3. Wer eigene Werte in „Dateien nicht hochladen“ gesetzt hat: Das Update setzt die Liste neu. Bitte danach prüfen und eigene Ergänzungen wieder eintragen.

4. Durch die neue .htaccess im Medienverzeichnis werden manche Dateitypen (z. B. SVG oder HTML) als Download ausgeliefert und nicht mehr im Browser angezeigt.

WBCE CMS 1.6.9 is a security and maintenance release. All users of the 1.6.x series are strongly advised to update soon.

Security

This release includes a comprehensive security review. It hardens user management, the handling of uploaded files and many of the bundled modules:

• Droplets (2.4.2)

• WYSIWYG (2.10.1)

• News with Images (5.0.32)

• WBCE Updater (1.0.7)

The media directory also gets a new .htaccess, and more file types are now discarded.

Bug fixes

• Fixed unintended session loss.

• Captcha Control 2.0.6: Upgrading the module no longer overwrites existing settings with the default values.

• CKEditor "wblink": Fixed a display issue with special characters.

• Fixed email validation and installer error messages.

• Droplets: The active/inactive switch in the droplet list works again.

• Minor fixes in the core and in Logrotate.

Compatibility

• PHP 8.5: Fixed the remaining deprecation notices.

Update notes

1. Make a full backup of your files and database before updating.

2. Update as usual with the WBCE Updater, or manually: upload the files, then open /install/update.php.

3. If you have set your own values for "Do not upload these files": the update resets this list. Please check it afterwards and add your custom entries again.

4. Because of the new .htaccess in the media directory, some file types (e.g. SVG or HTML) are served as downloads and no longer open in the browser.
