Hello
I have just installed WBCE 1.2.
CKEditor does not work. There is empty wysiswyg window diplayed without any button of CKEditor. There is no possibility to write anything.
I noticed that insatallation files do not include wb-ckconfig.js.
Is that ok that wb-ckconfig.js is not included in WBCE 1.2 package? How can I solve the problem?
Cheers

Hello and welcome,
I can't reproduce this error at a first glance.
A file wb_ckconfig.js is not mandantory.
Please check if CKEditor is choosen at Settings > Advanced Settings > default WYSIWYG Editor. (What is the case usually, but nevertheless)
It might help if you uninstall CKE (go to Addons > Modules and select CKEditor at Uninstall Module) and re-install it.
The installation package can be downloaded at WBCE AOR.
If this does not help, please provide the following information:
- Server PHP version
- Choosen backend lanuage
- Frontend template (default or sth. else?)
- Any JavaScript errors where editor is missing (press F12 to open browser console)

Hello
So:
1.CKEditor is default editor.
2. I have reinstalled editor - the same problem
3. I have checked it for two PHP versions: 5.6.25 and 7.0.10 - the same problem
4. Backend language: PL, then EN, then DE - no differences
5. I have uninstalled my template and set Vertal WBCE template - no differences.
6. Java script errors: no errors.
I can not find what is wrong.
Thank you

Is it possible that it is a local issue, that means, do you use any browser plugins which might block JavaScript or sth. that way? So that you have to add the page to add to "trusted sites" for example?
Which browser / OS do you use, and have you tested it with other browsers?
Are you testing on a webserver or a local test environment?

I have just checked the page in different browsers: FF, Opera, IE, Chrome. In all of them CKEditor does not work - no buttons.
I use browser plugins only in FF. Other browsers are without plugins.
Page is now on WAMP only. I will try to install it on webserwer and will let you know how it is working.
Thanks

For testing purposes, we offer a ready-to-run instance for Windows on USBwebserver btw.

One thing that is different from standard is that I do not use pages catalogue for pages. Do you think that it can cause such strange behaviour of CKEditor?

I'm not sure if I'm understanding you the right way: do you mean that you do not use the folder /pages but store the accessfiles in the root of the installation? What should not cause that kind of problems. Or did you apply any other changes to the default setup?

I set page pl as a home page and then its subpages that are in the pl folder.
For other languages I use en or de as home pages and all theirs supages are in en/de folders. So in the main catalogue I have only pl.php, en.php, de.php ...

I see. No, that is definitively no problem at all, that's just the tidy way a multilangual page should be structured.

In the default setup I have removed pages as a folder for pages and wb_ prefix for tables.

Should not cause any issues like the described ones neither.

I have copied my WBCE from Wamp to webserwer - the same - CKEditor does not work.
I have installed new WBCE on webserwer. CKEditor does not work

Some other questions, just to be sure:
- what backend-theme do you use (WbFlat, Argos-reloaded, Fraggy)?
- do you see the "normal" wysiwyg-field but without the buttons or do you see just a plain text-area?
- what happens (what do you see) if you switch in settings the wysiwyg-editor to "none"
- have you enabled the error-reporting-level in the settings (E_EVERYTHING)?
... nein in Europa verwenden wir beim Programmieren nicht € statt $ ...

@gawi
Please check the following too:
- Do you see the CKEditor when accessing http://ckeditor.com/ ?
- If you install the FCKEditor and select this editor as WYSIWYG editor at website settings, does this work for you?
- Would you mind to send me backend access credentials via PM or mail to support (at) wbce.org so that I can have a look at the site?

Hello
- what backend-theme do you use (WbFlat, Argos-reloaded, Fraggy)?
Wrong CKE behaviour does not depend on selected templete.
- do you see the "normal" wysiwyg-field but without the buttons or do you see just a plain text-area?
just plain text area
- what happens (what do you see) if you switch in settings the wysiwyg-editor to "none"
-there is window without buttons
- have you enabled the error-reporting-level in the settings (E_EVERYTHING)?
- yes;
- Do you see the CKEditor when accessing http://ckeditor.com/ ?
Yes I see CKEditor with all buttons
- If you install the FCKEditor and select this editor as WYSIWYG editor at website settings, does this work for you?
FCKEditor works properly
- Would you mind to send me backend access credentials via PM or mail to support (at) wbce.org so that I can have a look at the site?
I will sent it

Thank you. I've figured it out. It's a problem with the "wbsave plugin", which appears when the default lanuage of the browser is set to polish.
For a quick solution, open /modules/ckeditor/include.php with AFE with an editor and remove the term "wbsave" from the list of plugins in line 118. Then the CKE should be loaded the usual way.
